    Position: Speech Language Pathologist

    Company: Chambersburg Skilled Nursing

    Location: Chambersburg, PA, USA

    Contract Details: Travel Contract, Shift 8am to 4:30pm, 13 weeks contract

    Chambersburg Skilled Nursing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a travel contract basis. Our facility is located in the beautiful town of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and provides top-notch care to our residents.

    As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing therapy to help our residents achieve their communication and swallowing goals.

    Responsibilities:

    - Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities

    - Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care

    - Provide ongoing therapy to patients to improve communication and swallowing skills

    - Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

    - Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients

    - Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in the field of speech language pathology

    Requirements:

    - Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

    - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

    - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred

    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
