Join the therapy team at Putnam County Hospital, where you'll primarily treat outpatient pediatric patients while occasionally supporting adult inpatient and Swing Bed rehabilitation. You'll primarily work with:

• Outpatient pediatric speech and language disorders
• Articulation and phonological disorders
• Language delays
• Cognitive-communication disorders
• Pediatric feeding and swallowing (when applicable)

You'll also occasionally assist with:

• Adult inpatient rehabilitation
• Swing Bed patients
• Speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll help patients improve communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life through individualized treatment.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult speech-language disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based one-on-one therapy
• Educate patients and caregivers
• Document care using EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation professionals
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

• Graduate of a CAA-accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Minimum one year of outpatient pediatric experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Hospital or outpatient rehabilitation experience
• Pediatric feeding and swallowing experience
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
