About the RoleHello, SLPAs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based positions near Monument, CO & Colorado Springs. In this role, you’ll support K–12 students by providing speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll play a key role in helping students strengthen their communication skills and succeed in the classroom setting.
This is a great opportunity for both experienced SLPAs and those looking to transition into the school setting. You’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience while working alongside supportive professionals who are committed to student success.

What You’ll DoProvide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLPSupport students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goalsImplement therapy plans and activities developed by the supervising SLPCollect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notesCollaborate with teachers, families, and school teamsAssist with preparing therapy materials and supporting student engagementParticipate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school documentation requirements
What We’re Looking ForActive Colorado SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)Colorado CDE authorization/certification (or willingness to obtain) preferredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related fieldStrong communication, organization, and collaboration skillsSchool-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
