    Heartland AEA has a full-time position (185 days) available for the 2026-2027 school year, based out of the Newton Office, serving the Newton and Prairie City Monroe School Districts. This position will provide services that assist children with their language, articulation, and voice and fluency activities under the supervision of a speech-language pathologist.

    The position requires the ability to follow and deliver treatment plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP, document student progress and assist with informal documentation, preparing materials and other clerical duties.

    Qualifications:

    Qualified applicants must have a high school degree or equivalent. Be eighteen years of age or older and have basic computer and technology skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
