Birch Agency is currently seeking Speech Language Pathologists to work in person with students in Ansonia, CT for the 2026-2027 school year. The positions are fulltime, and the SLPs will provide services to students from Pre-K through High School. Interviews are being held as soon as possible.

SLP Job Responsibilities:

• 
  Screen new students for Speech/Language disorders
  
• 
  Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine the degree and severity
  
• 
  Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
  
• 
  Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
  
• 
  Attend IEP Meetings
  
• 
  Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
  
• 
  Consult with Teachers
  
• 
  Work as a part of the Special Ed team
  
• 
  Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion

Required Qualifications:

• 
  Master s degree in Speech and Communication
  
• 
  CT Speech Language Pathologist State Licensure/Certification
  
• 
  ASHA Certification
