Job Summary
Responsibilities*
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Administrative supervision is received from the Director of Speech-Language Pathology and/or the Speech Language Pathology Supervisor. Clinical supervision may be received from the Speech-Language Pathology Supervisor and/or the Programmatic Lead SLP Senior. Programmatic.team input may be received from a programmatic leader.
What You'll Do
Evaluation and management of adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an academic university hospital acute care
Documentation of clinical findings, adhering to regulatory agency and insurance requirements
Education of patients and families regarding communication and swallowing disorders.

Work Schedule
Days, M-F, typically 8-5, hours may vary
Work Locations
Split , 3 days/week at Briarwood Med Rehab and 2 days/week at Canton Health Center
Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
