Our service is growing and changing as part of the wider SEND reforms, and we're building something that feels practical, responsive, and child‑centred. Our Speech and Language Therapy team sits within North Yorkshire Council's SEND and Inclusion services. We work across a wide range of settings and pathways, and our remit is deliberately broad so that children and young people can access the right support at the right time.

You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team of therapists, specialist teachers and educational psychologists who work closely with families, schools, early years settings, social care, and health partners. The role offers a genuinely varied caseload, with opportunities to develop skills across a wide range of clinical areas.
