    Description

    Long Lots Elementary School is searching for Speech and Language Pathologist to join a talented team of educators meeting the needs of all students. The qualified candidate will work alongside a dedicated team of special education and related service staff as well as the entire school community in meeting the needs of all students.

    Qualifications:
    • Speech and Language Pathologist Certification (061);
    • Knowledge of assessment tools for comprehensive speech-language evaluations; and
    • Knowledge of instructional and assistive technology related to the needs of students with speech-language disabilities.
    Responsibilities:
    • Administers, scores, and interprets speech/language assessments for students;
    • Develops and implements individual educational plans to meet student needs, interests, and abilities;
    • Review student's yearly progress and write progress reports and annual reports;
    • Attend meetings and conferences and participates in staff development activities to promote student professional growth;
    • Ability to use and interpret data to monitor student progress; and
    • Maintain records as required by law.

    Salary: According to the Teachers' contract (2025-2028)
