Job Title: Laboratory Assistant/ Specimen Technician Location: Cleveland, OH Duration: 3+ Months (Possibility of Extension/ Temp to Hire) Available Shifts;
2nd Shift: Thu to Mon: 3PM-1130PM
2nd Shift: Tue to Sat: 3 PM-11:30PM
3rd Shift: Fri to Tues: 7PM-3:30AM
Job Summary:
Support daily lab operations by performing routine tasks accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Receive, sort, and prepare specimens for testing
Perform centrifuging, labeling, aliquoting, and specimen storage/retrieval
Prepare reagents and media
Maintain instruments and equipment
Record data (e.g., temperature logs)
Handle QA/QC tasks and resolve pending lists
Decontaminate work areas and dispose of biohazard materials
Follow all PPE and safety protocols
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Basic math and science knowledge preferred
Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and maintain accuracy
