Pride Health is hiring a
Specimen Processing Technician I to support our client’s medical facility in following cities,
Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Summary:We are seeking an entry-level Specimen Processing Technician I to join a busy clinical laboratory's specimen processing team. This position is ideal for candidates with strong data entry, computer, and keyboarding skills who can perform repetitive tasks accurately in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform general specimen processing and laboratory support functions.
- Process specimens through areas such as A-station, presort, pickup/delivery, imaging/microfilming, centrifugation, and aliquoting.
- Enter specimen and patient information accurately into computer systems.
- Identify and understand different specimen types and test requirements.
- Follow changing laboratory compliance and specimen-ordering requirements.
- Maintain productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
- Perform repetitive data-entry and computer-based tasks for most of the shift.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong basic computer skills
- Strong data entry and keyboarding skills

- Location: Pittsburgh, PA
- Job Type: 13-week contract
- Pay Range: $17 - $20 (Hourly)
- Shifts:3rd Shift, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
