    What You’ll Do & Bring

    As a Specialties Patient Services Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, families, and community partners—providing excellent service both in person and over the phone while supporting efficient clinic operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
    • Answer calls, document communications accurately, and route messages to the appropriate team members
    • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments across clinical providers and locations
    • Review patient charts to ensure all required documentation (ID, consent, demographics) is complete and up to date
    • Assist patients with registration, forms, and understanding visit requirements
    • Address patient concerns professionally, resolving minor issues and escalating when needed
    • Collect and discuss co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles prior to visits
    • Reconcile cash drawer and prepare payments for transfer to the accounting team
    • Maintain proficiency in EHR systems to support accurate scheduling and patient communication

    What You Bring:

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with office equipment and basic administrative tools
    • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds
    • Professionalism in handling sensitive situations and patient concerns
    • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality patient care

    Preferred:

    • Bilingual in Spanish
    • Experience in a medical or dental front office setting
