Delta's Revenue Management team currently has a Transpacific Pricing Specialist role open in Atlanta, GA to support the development and execution of Delta's market-level Transpacific pricing strategy and drive analysis of revenue performance across a highly visible and complex portfolio of markets. The primary responsibility of this position is to identify, develop, and influence revenue-maximizing pricing strategies for assigned Transpacific markets while serving as a trusted advisor to internal business partners and Joint Venture partner Korean Air.
A Specialist in this role will serve as a subject matter expert in pricing strategy, leveraging analytical tools, industry knowledge, and commercial insights to identify incremental revenue opportunities and improve business performance. The Specialist is expected to independently lead highly complex market analyses, influence cross-functional strategic decisions, and recommend innovative pricing approaches that balance revenue optimization, competitive positioning, and customer value. This position works closely with Inventory Management, Network Planning, System Strategy, and Korean Air leadership to ensure alignment with divisional and corporate priorities while driving initiatives that deliver measurable commercial results.
Primary Job Functions:
- Lead complex market, competitive, and revenue analyses to identify strategic opportunities and risks, develop recommendations, and influence pricing decisions across assigned Transpacific markets.
- Serve as the pricing subject matter expert for assigned markets, providing strategic guidance and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Independently manage high-profile market scopes and commercial initiatives with significant revenue impact.
- Collaborate with Inventory Management to develop and implement revenue-optimal strategies and partner with System Strategy on enterprise-wide commercial initiatives.
- Influence cross-functional decisions through clear communication of analytical findings, strategic recommendations, and business implications to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- Lead the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements, automation opportunities, and analytical enhancements that improve team effectiveness and business performance.
- Partner with Global Pricing Distribution (GPD), Enterprise Solutions (ES), and other Commercial teams to define requirements and drive enhancements to pricing tools, systems, and reporting capabilities.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Pricing and Revenue Management (PRM) or Commercial (Sales, Network, Alliances, etc.) experience is required.
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in Pricing, Revenue Management, or related Commercial experience.
- Proven ability to independently manage highly complex market scopes, strategic projects, and ambiguous business challenges with limited oversight.
- Demonstrated expertise in translating complex analytical findings into actionable business strategies and influencing decisions across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert while building credibility across Commercial organizations and Joint Venture partners.
- Proven ability to influence outcomes and drive alignment across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive, team-focused, and results-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
- Advanced Pricing and Revenue Management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex market strategies and measurable commercial results.
- Strong proficiency with pricing systems (Sabre AirPrice, ATPCO), sales programs, and Revenue Management concepts.
- Advanced proficiency with commercial data sources and analytical tools, including Hyperion/Brio, RPAD, FPS, MIDT, HFDB, and related reporting platforms.
- Experience leading cross-functional commercial projects, tool development initiatives, process redesign efforts, or automation implementations.
- Experience presenting recommendations and business cases to senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop less experienced analysts while fostering best-practice adoption across the team.
