Job Responsibilities

● The Talent, Event & LIVE Security (TELSec) team delivers proactive, customized

security services that support the company's Original Productions, public-facing events, and

talent-driven experiences worldwide. From global premieres to live productions,

TELSec safeguards people, protects content, and ensures seamless execution that

aligns with the company’s culture, brand, and operational priorities.

● This NYC-based role reports to the Senior Manager of Talent, Event & LIVE Security

and serves as both an advisor and hands-on operator. You’ll work closely with

cross-functional partners—including Content Security, Production, Marketing,

Publicity, and Events—to design, coordinate, and execute security plans that are

discreet, strategic, and tailored to each project. The ideal candidate will combine

operational expertise with a service-oriented mindset, reducing risk while enabling

creativity and supporting unforgettable moments for our audiences and teams.

Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with Intelligence teams to evaluate and develop plans for events and

experiences

● Develop and maintain effective business relationships with Local/State/Federal law

enforcement, emergency response, and trusted security networks

● Provide immediate stabilization and management of incidents impacting events and

experiences

● Support productions and LIVE! Projects regionally when required

● Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to design, implement, and

oversee security plans for events, productions, and talent-driven experiences.

● Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect people,

content, and assets.

● Manage on-the-ground security operations, ensuring discreet yet effective protection.

● Coordinate logistics, staffing, and vendor partnerships to align with the company’s

operational standards.

● Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and

trust.

● Maintain awareness of industry best practices, emerging threats, and evolving security

technologies.

Qualifications

Requirements: 

● 5 years of relevant experience, which can include executive/close protection, security,

intelligence, military; with a focus on protection/security issues, or private sector event

security management

● Experience analyzing and mitigating risk in ambiguous circumstances while

maintaining a professional demeanor and focus

● Undergraduate degree, preferably in a security, intelligence, emergency management

or related subject

● Must be business fluent in English; additional language proficiency a plus

● Proven experience in event, talent, or production security, preferably in entertainment

or live events.

● Strong background in risk assessment, operational planning, and crisis management.

● Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-changing environments.

● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.

● Experience liaising with cross-functional teams and external partners.

● Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as

needed.

●  Nice to Haves or Preferred Skills:  

● Undergraduate degree, preferably in a security, intelligence, emergency management

or related subject

● Deep experience in assessing and managing risk, logistics and operational workflow for  

LIVE Sports
