Job Duties: Work on a software development team responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle and ensure the on-time, quality delivery of software product releases. Perform hands-on software development in an agile environment. Develop high quality, high performance, and scalable software. Work with software code in a variety of languages, including Java, .NET, C#, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SQL, NoSQL Mongo DB, and Angular. Maintain knowledge of experimental software technology to continuously improve Schwab's technological offerings. As a member of a small software development team, build the next generation of technology capabilities for Schwab. Fully engage in the software development life cycle ("SDLC"), including Evaluating feature requests; Resolving best solutions to implement features; Coding, testing, and deploying software features. Participate in technology planning to serve Schwab's goals of developing best-in-class financial tools. Utilize algorithm design and data structures to create required software applications.

What you have

Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in a related occupation.. Experience must include 36 months of experience involving the following: Developing enterprise full stack web applications using Java, Spring framework, C#, or .NET Framework; All development phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC); Building dynamic, user-friendly front-end interfaces with JavaScript and React; Building and consuming RESTful web services for application integration; Application of Object-Oriented Design, SOLID Principles, and design patterns; Test Driven Development using JUnit/Mockito or NUnit/Moq frameworks; Database technologies including SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB; CI/CD tools including Bamboo/Harness and Version control tools including Bitbucket/Git, or SVN; Messaging frameworks including Rabbit MQ or Apache Kafka; Monitoring web applications/services using tools including Splunk/Kibana; and Agile software development practices.

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
