Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer (On-site)

We are recruiting for a Senior Associate, Integration & Test Engineer for permanent placement with our client. This position supports subsystem- and system-level integration, qualification, verification, and testing of complex hardware and software systems.

The engineer will develop and execute test plans, procedures, and scripts for First Article Qualification and Factory Acceptance Testing. This role also includes system configuration, troubleshooting, prototype development, test-equipment maintenance, and production and qualification testing performed in accordance with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461.

• Set up, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, scripts, and supporting documentation
• Perform system-level integration, qualification, verification, and validation testing
• Test and troubleshoot components, subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems
• Create drawing trees, parts lists, interconnect diagrams, and manufacturing build documents
• Operate, verify, and maintain test sets and electronic test equipment
• Lead software integration and testing activities
• Document test results, performance metrics, and system-readiness findings
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, quality assurance, and product teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience; graduate degree with 0–2 years of related experience; or at least 6 years of related experience without a degree
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience with system integration, qualification testing, and troubleshooting
• Experience testing hardware and software systems

• LabVIEW and Python
• Electronics testing and test-process execution
• MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461
• First Article Qualification and Factory Acceptance Testing
• RF or SATCOM communications testing
• Oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
• Firewalls, switches, routers, network architecture, and subnetting
• Automated testing and data analysis
• Data-center power requirements, cooling, rack buildout, and laboratory security
