    • Able to work with all levels of technology experience or inexperience.
    • Reliable transportation to campuses and/or ability to drive a district vehicle.

    • Coordinate the districtwide library materials ordering cycle for Function 12. Process print and digital library materials orders for all district campus libraries, from campus requisition through requisition entry, purchase order issuance, receipt, and delivery. Maintain order records, vendor quotes, title lists, and encumbrance documentation against the annual Function 12 library materials allocation of approximately $1.2 million. Reconcile invoices, packing lists, and receiving records in coordination with Procurement Services and Financial Services; research and resolve discrepancies, damaged shipments, backorders, and returns. Verify MARC records, vendor shelf-ready processing specifications, and item-level data for accurate loading into the district library automation system. Prepare recurring order status, receipt, and expenditure reports for the Director of Library Media Services, and track spending against campus and district allocations.

Coordinate with Technology Services regarding network, filtering, and device requirements for library instructional technology.
    • Administer the district library eBook and digital resources platforms: Maintain eBook and digital audiobook platform configuration, including campus site setup, account provisioning, and coordination of rostering and single sign-on with Technology Services. Process digital purchases, license renewals, and title assignments across campus collections. Monitor platform usage and circulation data and produce reports for Library Media Services. Serve as first-line support for platform access and functionality issues and escalate unresolved items to vendor support.
    • Provide hardware and software technical support to district school libraries: Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems when related to library circulation workstations and desktop computers. Interface with the Technical Assistance Center regarding trouble tickets; screen, refer, and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests. Provide software support to district libraries, including library automation icons and Microsoft applications. Use a problem management system to document work performed, actions taken, referrals made, and problem disposition. Provide support to campuses in identifying out-of-date technology and the removal of such.
    • Participate in opening, closing, weeding, or organizing libraries as directed.
