Provides specialized professional support services to administrators and/or project managers in the administration of research and/or administrative projects. Assists in the administration and coordination of a variety of research and/or administrative projects including planning, budgeting, organizing, research and delivery of services. Coordinates and supervises work assignments of other administrative personnel as assigned. Collaborates with project stakeholders from across various departments to achieve project goals. Essential Duties: 1. Job Knowledge Understands duties and responsibilities, has necessary job knowledge, has necessary technical skills, understand company mission/values, keeps job knowledge current, is in command of critical issues. 3. Productivity Manages a fair workload, volunteers for additional work, prioritizes tasks, develops good work procedures, manages time well, and handles information flow. 4. Dependability Meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability, handles change, sets personal standards, stays focus under pressure, meets attendance/punctuality requirements. 5. Team Work Interfaces and works with internal and external team members in ways to foster optimal team interaction and results. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Req High School or equivalent Req 2 years Experience in Patient Financial Services/Revenue Cycle, or Managed Care Contracting in an acute care hospital. Req Strong analytical and communication skills. Req Public Speaking/Presentation Skills. Req Organization/time management skills. Req Well organized, self-motivated, detailed oriented and handle multiple projects efficiently and effectively. Req Knowledge of patient accounting key principals. Req Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi task. Req Intermediate knowledge of managed care and other healthcare contract language. Req Intermediate understanding of ICD10, HCPCS/CPT coding, medical terminology and hospital bill form requirements (UB04). Req Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, v-lookup functions, and query writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Required Licenses/Certifications: Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only) The hourly rate range for this position is $25.00 - $39.69.
