This is a skilled field operations position focused on the installation, repair, fabrication, and maintenance of sheet metal and HVAC duct systems. Working directly on commercial job sites, you will manage material layouts, interpret technical drawings, and coordinate closely with project teams to deliver high-quality, compliance-backed structural solutions.
System Installation
Coordinate, install, repair, and maintain commercial sheet metal and complex duct systems. Assist with the assembly and setup of HVAC equipment.
Perform precise field fabrication of sheet metal components, offsets, fittings, and related system components (hangers/supports).
Read, analyze, and interpret project blueprints, structural drawings, and technical design specifications.
Project
Plan work sequences to consistently meet project schedules, manage materials efficiently to minimize waste, and perform basic material takeoffs.
Safety
Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Mentor apprentices and laborers by promoting productivity, quality workmanship, and skill development.
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in commercial sheet metal or HVAC field operations with a stable employment history.
Proven ability to read blueprints, select growing/installation substrates, handle field fabrication, and utilize commercial hand and power tools safely.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Compliance
Valid Driver’s License and
OSHA 10 Certification are mandatory.
Candidates must provide their own basic hand tools.
Ability to lift/carry up to 60 pounds, work at heights on ladders/scaffolds, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Active Journeyman License.
Prior professional sheet metal shop fabrication experience.
Completed Trade School education or technical HVAC certification.
Ability to fabricate offsets and fittings, perform material takeoffs, and execute equipment installations with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication, collaborative teamwork, and the ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely while representing the company professionally.
