Special Procedures Technologist

A leading healthcare organization in Florence, SC is seeking a skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging and interventional team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with a variety of special procedures including fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, and other advanced imaging studies
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and functionality
- Position and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Administer contrast agents as directed and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and imaging results
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT(R) certification required; advanced specialty certifications preferred
- Current South Carolina licensure (or eligibility)
- BLS certification required
- Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience in fluoroscopy or interventional procedures preferred
