A Special Procedures Technologist opportunity is available at a 234-bed comprehensive facility in Hermitage, TN — an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center offering acute care services across cardiology, emergency, oncology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and women's services.

The role. In this position, you will scrub and assist interventional physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies, while managing hemodynamic measurements and valve area readings. You will set up and maintain sterile fields, administer contrast media according to age- and weight-specific guidelines, and demonstrate working knowledge of drugs including their actions, side effects, and contraindications. Responsibilities also include starting and maintaining IV access, accurately documenting exam completion in Meditech, scanning documents, and verifying images in PACS. You will properly measure and dispose of radioactive waste in accordance with regulatory guidelines, participate in a rotating call schedule, and cross-train in the cardiac cath lab.

What we're looking for.
  • Current license or registry from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)]
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab required
  • BLS certification required
  • Completion of ACLS training within six months of hire
  • Neuro experience preferred

Schedule. Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (four 10-hour shifts), with rotating call coverage of between 8–10 call days per month and rotating weekend coverage.

Compensation. $30.73 - $46.09/hr plus $20,000 sign-on bonus
