Vanguard Fire & Security Systems, Inc. is currently looking for a Special Hazards Systems Installer to install and maintain a variety of special hazard systems. Responsibilities and Duties: Install special hazard systems including FM-200, CO2, water mist, Inergen and Novec systems.

Special Hazards Systems Installer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Install special hazard systems including FM-200, CO2 , water mist, Inergen and Novec systems
• Work from blueprints and job diagrams to accurately and efficiently install new systems to the right specifications
• Install wire, conduit and piping to tie into fire systems
• Consult with Project Managers to understand challenges found during installation

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of Fire Protection experience preferred
• Understand basic mechanical and electrical concepts found at a job site
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office windows programs
• Have excellent mechanical skills and be able to work from blueprints
• NFPA or NICET certifications preferred
