    Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Special Education Teacher role based in Richardson, TX. The Special Education Teacher will design and deliver individualized instructional plans, provide one-on-one or small group instruction, and adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.

    Qualifications

    • Strong teaching and instructional skills, with the ability to plan, deliver, and differentiate lessons for primary and secondary school students.
    • \n
    • Experience in middle school education or working with adolescent learners in individualized or small-group settings.
    • \n
    • Formal training and/or certification in Special Education, with proven ability to develop and implement individualized education plans.
    • \n
    • Effective communication skills for engaging students, families, and colleagues, including clear written and verbal communication.
    • \n
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field; appropriate state teaching certification required or in progress.
    • \n
    • Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate records, and use educational technology to support instruction.

    • Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered practices and ongoing professional growth in special education methodologies.
