Job Summary
Education Specialists work collaboratively with general education teachers and administrators to accommodate and/or modify core curriculum and provide evidence-based interventions for students based on IEP goals. Instruction takes place in the Least Restrictive Environment. Ed. Specialists work with a variety of students who may need specialized academic instruction for up to 100% of their school day. Setting may include co-teaching, Learning Center Model, intensive small-group intervention, and/or self-contained for the majority of the day. Willingness/desire to teach in inclusive school communities is essential.
