Vacancy ID 20262027 - 01716 Position Category Exceptional Child Instructor Title Special Education Teacher (LBD) - Shepherdsville Elementary School (2026- 2027) (15250) Description Shepherdsville Elementary School is searching for a Special Education (LBD) Teacher to support continuous growth in students. Candidates must be equipped with a strong ability to support students with disabilities and be able collaborate with assistants and regular education teachers to support students with disabilities across multiple settings. Candidates must love students, have a passion for teaching and learning, value active student engagement, and maintain high expectations that will foster student growth. This candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and delivering a program of instruction that supports high expectations for all students. The ideal candidate will also be able to work with other special education teachers in the department as well as regular education teachers to monitor progress of students and develop plans for supporting students in their least restrictive environment.
