At PPHS, our teachers are educational coaches. Students take an active role in their learning and coaches facilitate, encourage and provide opportunity and support.
- Provide coaching and support for student academic growth and achievement.
- Engage students in academic conversations that elicit critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and community partners in a co-taught, interdisciplinary instructional setting
- Develop meaningful and supportive relationships with students
- Collect and analyze student data to support instructional decisions
- Maintain positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, and community partners
- Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventions for English Learners, students with 504 Plans, and Special Education students
