SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER – HIGH SCHOOL
Forest Lake, Minnesota | $50–$55/hour | Contract
The district may be able to support an Out-of-Field Licensure Placement for qualified candidates who do not currently hold the exact required license.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–3:15 PM
Grades: 9–12
Contract: August 31, 2026–June 4, 2027

What you’ll do:
• Provide specialized instruction to students in grades 9–12
• Develop and monitor IEPs
• Adapt curriculum and instruction to individual needs
• Provide behavior and classroom management support
• Track academic, behavioral, and social-emotional progress
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families
• Maintain required student records and special education documentation
What you bring:
• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License in EBD, ASD, or ABS
• Experience supporting at-risk students
• Strong behavior support and classroom management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• High school experience preferred
