Our integrated model blends clinical therapy, specialty education, and family support, offering a unique environment for both students and staff.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a passionate, adaptable Special Education Teacher to join our specialty K-12 school program. The teacher will develop and deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction for neurodiverse learners, collaborating with therapists and families to support student success.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and implement individualized lesson plans using UDL principles
    • Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs
    • Collect and analyze student progress data
    • Collaborate with therapy team (ABA, mental health, speech, OT)
    • Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
    • Maintain compliance with Texas Education Agency, FERPA, and licensure requirements
    • Participate in ongoing professional development and staff training

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
    • Texas Special Education certification (or eligibility)
    • Experience teaching students with autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
    • Commitment to trauma-informed, inclusive education
    • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
