Special Education Teacher Grades 6-12

The Northern Ozaukee School District is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher in Fredonia, WI to support a small population of students with more significant needs. Candidates should either hold a DPI Certification for Cross Categorical Special Education or Similar.

Seeking candidates with:

• Understanding of Alternative Academic Standards and Dynamic Learning Maps.
• Understanding of transition skills: abilities to discover and implement
• Knowledge and application of best teaching practices.
• Strong classroom management skills
• Technology skills with classroom application
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• IEP writing and data gathering strengths
• Innovative and adaptable
