Job Requirements.
- New Jersey Teacher Certification or Certificate of Eligibility as Teacher for Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or Psychology required, Master's Degree preferred.
- Experience with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans.
- Experience as a Resource Room Teacher or Teacher of a Self-Contained Classroom preferred, but not required.
- Ability to use data to drive planning & instruction..
- Experience teaching in an urban environment is preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team, particularly with parents and community members.
