Lake Washington School District is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to serve in a Resource Room position for the 2026-2027 school year. This role will be split between Bell Elementary and Rush Elementary Schools (.5 FTE at each school). Selected candidates will be contacted by building administrators for an interview.
The resource room program provides academic and behavioral supports to students who spend a range of their time within general education. Teachers may provide pull-out services, push-in supports or co-teach with general education teachers.
Qualifications:
Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.
Salary:
Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
