    Position Details:

    • Elementary Case Load: Center-Based Classroom

    • Full Time, 1.0 FTE

    • In Person

    • Starting August 2026 for the entire school year
       

    About the Role
    Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers to support students in Eaton, CO. In this role, you’ll provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed. You’ll work with a collaborative district and a supportive, therapist-run team.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

    • Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects

    • Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment

    • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families

    • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

    • Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation

    • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs

    • Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning
       

    What We’re Looking For

    • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement

    • Fingerprinting through OSPI

    • Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

    • School-based experience preferred, not required
