Description

Special Education Teacher 36-week contract in Easton, Maryland. Provide specialized educational services to elementary students with disabilities. Earn up to $55 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized educational services to elementary students with disabilities including OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairment.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Assess students' progress and adjust instruction methods to meet their needs.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping for compliance and reporting.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to create inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Special Education Teacher.

  • Minimum 1 year experience handling caseloads involving OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairment.

  • Ability to work in elementary settings and serve a caseload of 10-15 students.

  • Background in providing services inside general education settings.

  • Soft skills: patience, adaptability, and strong communication.

  • Physical ability to perform classroom duties.

  • Background check required.
