Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students needs
Collaborate with teachers parents and support staff to foster student success
Manage classroom activities and behavior to create a safe positive learning environment
Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district policies
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent
Valid Texas Teaching Certification in Special Education or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience working in a school setting with special education students
Familiarity with IEPs
Familiarity with behavior management strategies
Reliable transportation
Background check clearance
Ability to work collaboratively within a school team
