    Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

    • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
    • Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities (mild to moderate and/or severe)
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Ability to adapt lessons and classroom environments to meet individual student needs
    • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and monitor tailored lesson plans and IEPs
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrative staff
    • Maintain accurate and timely records, data, and reports
    • Provide direct instruction, intervention, and support to students across academic and behavioral domains
    • Communicate proactively with families and caregivers to support student growth
    • Foster an inclusive classroom culture that encourages student confidence and independence
