Job Summary
JCS-Manzanita is currently seeking a Part-time Special Education Teacher serving students with special needs at our school located in La Mesa, CA. The Special education Teacher will provide quality services to special education students grades kindergarten through grade twelve. Planning and implementation of student programs includes special instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation to general education staff.

Requirements / Qualifications
Requires a current California Credential (see credential information for specific credentials that are acceptable). If you do not currently hold an appropriate California credential at the time of your application, your application will not be considered.
In addition to a resume and letter of introduction, we require three letters of recommendation, a current negative TB test, current CPR certification, and copies of all college transcripts to be uploaded at the time of application. In the Academies, students attend four days a week, with Friday as a learn at home day. While in the Home Study program, a student learns at home under the guidance of a parent with optional Friday learning centers and field trips.
