Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional
35 hours per week
REQUIREMENTS:
Fingerprint Card
AA degree (or higher) or take and pass the Paraprofessional Examination.
REPORTS TO:
School Principal and Special Education Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in academic instruction of assigned students, under the direction of the classroom teachers, to help meet the student’s academic needs.
Assist classroom teachers with needs such as correcting papers, making copies, etc..
Assist with supervision duties in lunch room, at buses, playground, etc..
Assist with afternoon supervision on the bus
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Principal
