Key Responsibilities
Provide direct special education instruction and fulfill required student IEP service minutes through push-in, pull-out, and small-group instruction.
Manage assigned student caseloads, develop IEPs, and monitor progress toward individualized goals.
Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings, evaluations, reevaluations, and annual reviews.
Develop and maintain ESS service schedules, ensuring required instructional and related service minutes are delivered and documented.
Oversee ESS program compliance with IDEA and Arizona Department of Education requirements.
Coordinate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers.
Maintain accurate service logs, student records, progress reports, and compliance documentation.
Monitor student achievement data and implement targeted interventions.
Communicate program needs, service gaps, and compliance concerns to school leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification appropriate for assigned students.
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and Arizona ESS compliance requirements.
Strong instructional, organizational, communication, and case management skills.
Previous special education teaching or coordination experience preferred.
