Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District is looking for a student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our high school team.
Why Is This Position Open?
This position is available because we recently created a new High School Special Education Coach position to strengthen and expand the support we provide to our special education staff and students.
One of our experienced high school special education teachers was selected to move into this new role. As our Special Education Coach, she will work closely with our high school special education teachers to provide coaching, collaboration, and support related to IEP development and implementation, specially designed instruction, student needs, progress monitoring, and effective special education practices.
Why Oak Creek-Franklin?
We are fortunate to have a strong and dedicated teaching staff with a low teacher turnover rate. Most of our teacher openings are the result of retirements, followed by teachers relocating out of state. In other words, teachers tend to stay because Oak Creek-Franklin is a great place to build a career.
We are also proud to be one of the highest-paying school districts in Wisconsin. Our compensation reflects the experience and expertise that exceptional teachers bring to our schools.
For example:
If you are currently teaching in another district and are concerned about leaving your current position, we may be able to help. I f accepting a position with Oak Creek-Franklin would result in financial damages or obligations to your current district, we will work with you to cover those costs.
And if you are considering relocating to the Oak Creek-Franklin area, we would be happy to help make that transition easier.
We are looking for the right person to join our team, and we hope that person might be you.
We look forward to meeting you!
