The Wauwatosa School District (WSD) is seeking candidates interested in serving as a Special Educational Assistant at Wauwatosa Montessori School. Wauwatosa Montessori School serves approximately 188 students.
The Special Education Assistant works with students under the supervision of certified teachers to support and services students with intellectual disabilities throughout the school day. Duties include providing academic instruction, behavioral supports, supervision, daily living and delegated nursing tasks to students with disabilities. It is preferred that the candidate be CPI trained or willing to receive CPI training. This position would be job sharing with another employee and would be working a total of 3 days a week.
