Arrowhead High School is accepting applications for a full-time Special Education Program Aide.
The Special Education Aides will be scheduled during the school-year, Monday through Friday from 7:00am-2:45pm and assist the teacher and case manager, and works directly with pupils following teacher directions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with classroom management and instruction.
Assist with classroom structure and school routine.
Assist therapists by preparing students for therapy, maintaining therapy equipment, and transporting child to therapy.
Monitor EEN students during lunch, in the hallways, etc.
Assist a physically handicapped child in regular class.
Assist in interpreting for hearing impaired students.
Assist in basic self-care activities which could include toileting, changing diapers, dressing, feeding, etc.
Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, positive, team oriented attitude.
Perform other duties as assigned.
