Special Education Teacher position for a 36-week contract in Surprise, AZ. Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs while collaborating with classroom staff. Earn up to $57 per hour based on experience.
Deliver individualized special education services to students in a school setting
Collaborate with classroom staff and parents to develop and implement IEPs
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment conducive to student success
Adhere to all district policies, state regulations, and safety protocols
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or an equivalent field
Valid Education Certification or License in Special Education
Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting with strong special education strategies
Must have Legacy facility requirements
Adaptability, patience, and strong communication skills
Background checks and compliance with school district policies
Ability to work a daytime schedule, 40 hours per week
