Description

Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Salem, New Hampshire. Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained elementary program, earning up to $58 per hour based on experience. Impact students' learning outcomes while supporting individualized education plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students in a self-contained elementary program.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.

  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student performance and activities.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • NH Special Education Teacher license

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Special Education

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Ability to work in a self-contained elementary program

  • Background check clearance

  • Patience and adaptability
