Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Nantucket, Massachusetts. This role delivers high-quality instruction to students with severe disabilities (PreK-2) and supports individualized education plans. Compensation is up to $58 per hour, with premium pay and comprehensive benefits.
Deliver high-quality special education instruction to students with severe disabilities (PreK-2) in a school setting.
Collaborate with paraprofessionals and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Use ABA strategies and data collection methods to monitor and support student progress.
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.
Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
MA licensure for Students with Severe Disabilities (PreK-2) or comparable license
Experience with high-need populations
Familiarity with ABA and data collection
Must be able to work days
Background check may be required
