Special Education Teacher needed for a 36-week contract in Chandler, AZ. Develop individualized education plans for students with special needs
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' needs
Collaborate with classroom staff, parents, and related service providers to support student development
Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records
Create a positive learning environment that promotes student growth and engagement
Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent
Valid Arizona State Teaching Certification in Special Education
Appropriate state licensure or certification for educators
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a school setting
Strong knowledge of special education curriculum and teaching methods
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Background check and fingerprint clearance required
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to diverse student needs
Physically capable of supporting classroom activities and student needs
