Salary: Starting at $60,000 per year, based on education and years of teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and conversational Spanish.
• Incorporate cultural experiences and real-world applications into daily instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the varying proficiency levels of students.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
• Utilize technology and interactive teaching strategies to enhance language acquisition.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.

Qualifications

• Florida Professional Educator Certificate or Statement of Eligibility in Spanish (World Languages) is required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Master's degree preferred).
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for language instruction and promoting multicultural awareness.
