As a Special Finance Sales Consultant, you empower customers to achieve their vehicle ownership dreams, particularly those with unique credit circumstances. You play a critical role in our sales team, connecting Spanish-speaking clients with the right financing solutions and guiding them through a seamless purchase experience. You build trust, overcome financial hurdles, and deliver exceptional service, making a significant impact on our customers' lives and our business success.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Engages with Spanish-speaking customers to understand their automotive needs and financial situations.
- Sells new and pre-owned vehicles, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Specializes in special finance programs, identifying appropriate lending solutions for diverse credit profiles.
- Conducts thorough credit analysis, interpreting reports and financial data to match customers with suitable lenders.
- Negotiates sales terms, pricing, and financing options to create mutually beneficial agreements.
- Provides exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and transparent buying experience from start to finish.
- Builds and maintains strong client relationships, fostering loyalty and encouraging repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborates closely with finance managers and lending institutions to secure approvals and finalize deals.
- Educates customers on vehicle features, benefits, and available financing products.
- Manages sales documentation accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Required Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive sales.
- Proven experience in special finance or subprime lending.
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing sales roles.
Knowledge/Skills
- Spanish Fluency: Speaks, reads, and writes fluently in Spanish.
- Special Finance: Possesses a deep understanding of subprime lending, credit challenges, and financing options.
- Automotive Sales: Applies effective sales techniques and product knowledge to drive sales.
- Customer Service: Delivers outstanding service, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Negotiation: Exhibits strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals.
- Credit Analysis: Interprets credit reports and financial statements accurately.
- Client Relationship Management: Builds rapport and fosters lasting relationships with clients.
- Maintains current knowledge of automotive products and industry trends.
- Uses CRM software and other sales tools effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Certifications in automotive sales or finance.

- Works primarily in a dealership sales environment.
