The Opportunity:
The Amigos School seeks to hire a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Language Arts Teacher to join our diverse, committed, and passionate community. This individual will be responsible for providing Spanish Language Support and language arts instruction to students. The successful Two-Way candidate will have experience planning, implementing, and adapting curriculum, based on the Massachusetts State Frameworks and the Common Core. The successful candidate will set high expectations for all students and use scaffolding and differentiation to support students in accessing all language and content.
Students in Two-Way schools receive instruction in Spanish and English. The Math Interventionist teacher will provide intervention in Spanish and English. They will work collaboratively and in concert with their colleagues to plan and implement an academically and linguistically engaging curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and socially/culturally responsive to the needs of the dual language student population.
