Job Summary:
The Spa Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the spa and wellness areas, ensuring a luxurious and relaxing environment for guests. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to upholding high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all spa areas, including treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, locker rooms, showers, steam rooms, and common areas.
- Restock towels, linens, amenities, and other supplies in designated spa areas.
- Ensure all spa equipment and furniture are well-maintained and in pristine condition.
- Remove used linens and towels promptly and transport them to the appropriate laundry area.
- Empty trash and dispose of waste in accordance with hotel standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, broken equipment, or safety hazards to management.
- Assist with laundry duties related to spa linens and robes as needed.
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Assist spa therapists and other team members with cleaning and resetting treatment rooms.
- Ensure compliance with resort policies, safety procedures, and spa-specific protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or spa experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to maintain a professional and polished demeanor at all times.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and stooping.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, including linen bags, trash, and cleaning supplies.
- Comfortable working in a humid or warm environment, especially in steam rooms and sauna areas.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and tools, including vacuums, mops, and cleaning chemicals.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- $19.44 per hour
