    The Commons in Lincoln, a premier CCRC campus within Benchmark, is looking for an experienced, full-time Sous Chef to join our team! As a Sous Chef, your main role will be to support the Culinary team in ensuring that quality meals are consistently provided to our residents. You will be part of a team of dedicated, like-minded individuals whose support and camaraderie build community, and where long-lasting relationships with both associates and residents await.

    Responsibilities

    Assist in directing and overseeing all back-of-the-house activity including food procurement, production and food presentation.Support the Executive Chef in meeting or exceeding food services standards, budgetary requirements and managing kitchen operations.Act as a backup to the Executive Chef during their absence.Utilizing strong interpersonal skills, assist the Executive Chef in training and inspiring the culinary staff to consistently produce a high-quality product matched with exceptional presentation.
