We are looking for a skilled, hands-on
Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team.
In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to run daily kitchen operations, maintain high culinary standards, and lead our back-of-house team. We value strong leadership, consistency, and a collaborative management approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Culinary Execution: Ensure every plate meets our quality standards and directly contributes to an exceptional guest experience.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and develop back-of-house staff, identifying ongoing training needs and ensuring clear communication.
- Operations & Management: Assist with inventory, ordering, equipment maintenance, and adherence to company policies.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict health, safety, security, and sanitation standards across all kitchen departments.
- Collaboration: Act as a core member of the management team, supporting unified leadership decisions and driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of restaurant kitchen experience in a high-volume setting.
- Skills: Strong technical cooking abilities alongside proven leadership, team-building, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of health department regulations, food safety, and storage procedures.
- Computer & Math Skills: Basic proficiency in PC/software and kitchen math.
- Availability: Flexible work schedule to meet operational needs.
